Gratitude

A few of the ordinary Kavaun experiences I am most grateful for today.

1. Trading upside down smiles
2. Watching the garbage truck pace up and down our street with him in awe
3. Splash wars in the tub
4. The talking and squawking
5. Kisses - mooch mooch
6. The way he sits in front of me for his snacks because his mother has taught him to sit down when it is time to eat or drink from his sippy cup
7. Reading books with him (if he actually sits still)
8. Trashing the house with his toys and chasing him around the obstacles
9. The hugs
10. Helping him identify his body parts in Farsi
11. His curiosity is truly energizing
12. His dare devil antics make me laugh and scare me at the same time ("Look baba, I can climb on the couch now and jump off head first!")
13. His curls
14. Watching him dance with his mom in the middle of the living room floor
15. Those big brown eyes framed with those long eye lashes - when he smiles his eyes always smile biggest.
